In this bright and colorful design, intertwining trees separate to encircle the text and then join again to hold the Chuppah. The trees represent the couple joined in love, yet preserving their individuality, and then coming together in marriage and commitment. A pair of love doves protectively hovers over the tallit as a symbol of peace in the home. The unfurling Torah scroll displays a Hebrew quote from Song of Songs: My beloved is mine And I am his Who browses among the lilies. (Hence the white lilies at the base of the tree) A set of Shabbat candles rise from intertwining wedding rings to symbolize the creation of a new Jewish home. Jerusalem is never far from our souls and our thoughts.
