Jay Greenspan is the author of Hebrew Calligraphy: a step by step guide (New York: Schocken Books, 1981). A freelance calligrapher, he has designed and illuminated over 3000 Ketubot as well as illuminated manuscripts, certificates, bookplates, papercuts and other works.
