Temma Gentles
Temma’s background includes many hours spent with her grandparents in their ladies’ wear store in the Beaches, Toronto. She studied literary symbolism in English and Russian at University of Toronto, and later graduated from Ontario College of Art. Her work has won prestigious awards and is owned by several museums. She is a founder of the Pomegranate Guild, and on the board of Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. In 2002 while living in Israel, she designed and created costumes for The Mikado. Temma considers that the essence of all her work is bringing stories to life.
