Orthodox with English
The Orthodox Ketubah text is a legal document, written in Aramaic, that dates back to the Talmudic era. Revolutionary for its time, the Ketubah outlines protections for the bride, which are established to ensure her financial security and well-being. The English portion of the Ketubah is not a translation of the Aramaic, rather, it describes the circumstances of the wedding (date, location, name of the couple).
